I believe in prayer and in Jesus living in one’s heart. However, When the Apostle Peter was asked by those who had just crucified Jesus, he told them (based on their faith) to repent and be baptized in the name of Christ for the remission of sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, (Acts 2:38).
I believe in having a personal relationship with Jesus. It will keep you walking as He walked. It will keep you loving as He loved. It will keep you giving as He gave and it will keep you forgiving as He forgave.
One’s relationship with Jesus must be personal! We are saved or lost according to what we have done with respect to Jesus. He said “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments,” (John15:14).
Some seem to think that the Bible is their savior, but the Bible simply tells us who our Savior is and how to receive Him and walk in Him.
Think about it.
