Years ago, I spoke at a Youth Meeting and mentioned when the sun shone through the clouds it reminded me of the glory of God. Several years later, a young woman approached me and asked if I remembered saying that. She said she would always remember the glory of God when she saw this.
I hope you are familiar with II Corinthians 4:17-18, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but, at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
So the next time you feel like you can’t bear the burdens of life, remember there is waiting for you eternal glory. Romans 8:18 says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us.
All the diseases are temporary. All problems are temporary. All suffering is temporary. However, God’s glory is eternal.
